Pasta with Tuna, Peas & Cream


For 6 servings:

  • 1 package (454 grams) pasta of your choice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, finely diced

  • 2 cups frozen peas

  • 2 cans tuna (packed in water), drained

  • 1 -473 ml container 35% cooking cream

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Freshly chopped parsley



  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil, salt and cook pasta according to package instructions.

  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet heat olive oil and sauté onion for 3-4 minutes.

  • Add frozen peas and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. 

  • Stir in tuna, cooking cream and lemon zest. Add salt and pepper, to taste. 

  • Drain pasta and stir into the tuna mixture. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
