Empty Bowls

Thank you to all who came on Saturday, May 2, 2026 for the 11th edition of our fundraising event!

Improving food security, one bowl at a time.

Our Empty Bowls is a fundraising event that is held every Spring in collaboration with local potters. Beautiful hand-crafted pottery bowls are sold, in addition to some delicious soup to either enjoy on site or take home frozen. This is important to CDP since it benefits our programs that serve West Island Community members experiencing food insecurity. This event also helps to increase awareness about the number of people who are struggling with food insecurity in our community.

►If you are a potter, please note that it is never too early nor too late to donate bowls - we accept donations year round. Please note that we are no longer accepting donations for 2026, but you are welcome to start giving for our 2027 event! Thank you!
